memberlist search

one way to get around that is to just edit the url. there's 50 per page so just change it to a nice multiple of 50

turn this

Code: Select all

http://www.civic4g.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=joined&order=ASC&start=50
into this

Winter handling

winter tires can make a night and day difference no matter the chassis, as does driving a little slower. with all season tires, it doesn't take much to get the ass out on a snowy/icy surface, but i'd say it handles just fine.

Cigarette Lighter Socket

if you can't find them back under the dash, you can splice into your stereo's harness. you'll want to use the ground wire (black) and the 12V switch wire (red i believe). you could use the 12V constant (yellow), but i like the idea of my accessories not being able to drain the battery. i'm pretty su...

how dyou do it

must have been a fluke, or make it was an army of spambots going to war with the lock button. i've probably seen 10-15 users max on at the same time.

Forum isn't very active.

i'd rather have a quiet forum that can serve as a good tech outlet than a very active forum that's mostly off topic crap and flaming. (that's not to say there isn't any of that here, but it's nice to not have to sift through pages and pages of useless posts.)

burning oil question
you won't get high compression numbers with worn out piston rings, but you can with valve guides. clean your engine block, you might need to replace a few gaskets it all seems like to much work.. almost seems easier just to keep adding some oil..
yeah i know what you mean...

what is ZC technically

i don't think it really stands for anything, if it does then i don't know what. it's just the initials for one of the series of honda engines. you'll mainly find people talking about the dual overhead cam version, but there's also a SOHC one. the DOHC is similar to the D16A8/D16A9 engines found in i...

sport compact car did a nice write up of swapping that motor into our chassis, it might be worth it to search their site.
