Re: DPFI to MPFI Conversion

Some questions that have risen: I've a d15b1 on which I plan to do MPFI swap. The intake manifold came from d16a6, along with wire harness and TB and resistor box. I'll also be getting a pm6 ECU. Injectors, dizzy are in the works. What else? Oh, IACV/FITV. Now, it's stated that I cannot use that har...

Re: ecu pr4 on ls swap throwing codes

Indeed, I was going to post those on first reply, but decided to ask for details... If CPS isn't working properly, your ignition sucks. If coolant temp sensor isn't working properly, your mixture will be off and once again, ignition sucks.

Q about fuel line.

The fuel line from the fuel pump banjo bolt - what's it's diameter? Need to find a bender due to earlier mishap of mounting the bracket 180º around. The tank isn't sitting property due to bent line...

Re: ecu pr4 on ls swap throwing codes

You'd be better off if you can find the original wireloom intact somewhere. Unless you can be sure everything needed is really connected. Was the swap done by you or someone else?

Re: ecu pr4 on ls swap throwing codes

Care to shed some more light into matter? LS swap refers to B18A1, right? is the ECU out of the same car as the engine came from? Anything else? (Wiring etc)

Re: Center muffler delete? Opinions...

Well, decided not to do this after all. The old one has enough straight piping to use... Need to get few fittings and stuff, though.

Re: ECM replacement

Auto or manual?

Some info on ECU identifying:
http://www.hondata.com/techecuid.html

from http://www.hondacivicforum.com/forum/me ... post685318
is your car auto or manual cause the pm5-a09 is a manual ecu, and the pm5-l80 is a auto ecu

Center muffler delete? Opinions...

Here's the story so far: Lousy D15B1 with Martelius 2.25" exhaust (same as Sandman has), and the center muffler is foobared. Got it replaced with an EK VTi centerpiece (2") but the bend brings it way too low - if the road has worn out enough to have grooves on it, driving is pain in the a**, as it c...

Re: Q: Crush washers for fuel lines etc.?

Got some washers today: od 22mm (just under 7/8 Inch) and id 16mm (5/8 inch). Well, at least these will solve the tank dripping. Need to see about the smaller ones.

Re: Q: Crush washers for fuel lines etc.?

So, od is 16mm and id is 12mm in metric... Fuel drain plug is the same size as oil drain plug, thus the washer used in oil pan is good for tank drain. I think the fuel pump uses the same washers too.

Q: Crush washers for fuel lines etc.?

Ok, here's the deal: after a tank swap, I noticed it's leaking from the drain plug. That neeeds a crush washer... But what size washers go for fuel line banjo from the pump? Or under the hood, fuel filter housings service bolt? I', assuming they're the same size, at least on the pump. Any information?
