Re: 2 fitment questions..

lots of the 89-91 ZC's had power steering over here. As well as all the 89-91 sedan 1.6i's. Personally I wouldn't want it in my HB, in a daily driver cruising around perhaps, but for track use/fun the feel is just too vague. Exactly why I bought my second sedan. It was just too much like my first 4...

Re: Fitment issues for Honda Newbie

Wow that's a bummer man! Had the same issue a while back with a 4 lug steel wheel.. it had a Honda emblem on it and was 4 lugs so I assumed it would work fine.. Put it on my car and it seemed to fit.. Drove it for about a week or 2 and started getting this horrid clunking sound.. Turns out it was co...

Re: 2 fitment questions..

Thanks man yeah I was trying to look up to see but apparently the Crx didn't even have the option for power steering lol but I love my power steering and was hoping it would fit so that's good. Can probably find door stuff at a junkyard hopefully. Might still try and find some way to make the seats ...

Re: 2 fitment questions..

Okay so now I have a much bigger question.. My little bro decided he didn't want the Crx after all so how much stuff from my sedan could I swap over to the Crx? Also, how hard is it to convert the stick shift Crx to an Automatic and would all my sedan stuff work? It is an '89 Crx & a '91 Civic LX Se...

Re: 2 fitment questions..

that's lame!! don't they realize how much less cost they could have put into each car if they had more compatible parts?? makes absolutely no sense!! thanks for your help tho I may try to make his bumper work as it looks really awesome and it's nearly impossible to find anything for sedans for some ...

2 fitment questions..

1) Is it possible to fit hatchback fenders on a sedan?

2) My brother just bought a Crx and I wanted to know if his aftermarket front bumper could fit on my sedan? He plans to replace his and I really like the looks but wasn't sure if I could somehow mod it to fit without too much trouble.

-Thanks

Re: 1990 Civic Hatch 1.5L runs great cold but when it gets w

Sounds like your Catalytic Converter could be stopped up. Usually will only act up when warm and can throw O2 sensor codes since it is related to the same system and it can cause the exhaust to not flow properly. Depending on your area's emissions standards, you could just gut it out instead of repl...

Re: Adjustable coilover question..

Maybe that is normal.. I saw the gap in this video too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjOJ6ozkKF0 Seems really odd to me but maybe that's just how they are.. apparently the bounciness is common with the cheap adjustable coilover/sleeves which really sucks and makes them pretty much completely worth...

Re: Adjustable coilover question..

i'm not sure what brand I think he got them off Amazon or Ebay.. when they are on the car the gap is gone from the weight of the car on it, but off the car it has a huge gap just on the rear i have seen other people's that don't have the gap but haven't been able to figure out why mine is different....

Adjustable coilover question..

My dad got me some adjustable coilovers for my Civic for xmas, we went to put them on and for some reason the rear ones have a huge gap between the top of the spring and the top of the shock/strut is this normal or is there some step I am missing? For a '91 Civic LX sedan. Any help would be apprecia...

Don't you sometimes just want to find the engineers that designed these things and give them a good kick right in the balls? :banghead:

Headlight removal help..

I need to replace the headlight assembly on the passenger side of 1991 Civic LX Sedan. Is there ANY possible way to do this without removing the bumper like my dad's shop program tells me I need to do? I really don't want to exert all that effort just for a headlight but I'm not seeing how else i co...
