Yeah, I can't wait to get them on the car. And the snow could melt as well. When the guy dropped them off at my work her was knee deep in snow. :D

A few things that sneaked up on me. Cheap(And I mean cheap no-name chinese brand) discs that I put on when I last changed discs Didn't rly take the beating very well. The front discs are as the pics show- A bit more than just dead. I got these since I had to get the first discs I could get my hands on in a hurry(annual inspection). Won't be making that mistake again. They don't have a whole lot of kilometers on them(15-20 thousand). But they have been under the car for a while.
The problem

And the fix. Got these from a shop that's a customer at work(we're a wholesale company). Sadly we don't sell brakes. But I got them just as cheap.

I had a problem with the engine starting to overheat after 3 or 4 laps last summer when it was very hot. I diagnosed that the radiator(original from '88) is so clogged that air just can't pass through it properly. There is a palm sized patch where air can still pass through. So now before the summer kicks in I took this from work. Aluminum core, should even save a few kilos over the original copper cored radiator.

And the original one:

Not an oem manifacturer, but just as the original. It's a Nissens radiator. We sell them at work, they're good quality. With the little difference thay the original one is copper, that one is aluminum. The oem one weighed 4.5kg and the new one 2.3kg. Again a few kilos off the car. :D

Anyone about to buy a new radiator! Make sure you know if you have a Toyo. or a NipponDenso type radiator before you buy one. The two are different from the lower left slot where the fan hooks in to. I will post a pic of this later.

A slim fan would be usefull, not that much space. I just used my original one.

I've been kind of lazy in posting. But I did this a few days ago.
Does work, I've noticed an improvement in how the car runs when it's hot.

This is some fancy ceramic header wrap I got a while back.
Next I'm gonna modify the air intake from an short ram intake to a proper cold air intake. My intake temps have been way too high.

I changed the intake from a short ram to a cold air intake. This is also an updated pic of the engine how it looks this year. Changes this year, the air intake, header wrap and the radiator. I accidentaly dropped the rad on the head banging it up a bit but it's just cosmetic.

Now it runs cooler, stays cool and get's cold air. Success!
