question regarding going back to original suspension coils

Post by universal559 »

I had a lowered suspension with coil over but got tire of the bumping and bouncing, so i changed back to the original suspension coils. Now my problem is the car looks like a 4×4 truck. It is very high from the grown. Does any one know what could have gone wrong?

If you really used stock coils and everything was mounted correctly then the height should be correct.

The good thing about stock height is that you don't have to be cautious of anything on the road. You can just about drive through anything you'll encounter on a normal road. Where as I get stuck with my ZC if there's a manhole cover that's slightly higher than normal. :D

Last week I saw an SUV (volvo XC90) dodge a rather large puddle! I just laughed my ass off and drove right through it. :D

That depends because even at stock height our cars are low compared to many others, add to that the fact that our oil pans sit really low in the frame so you can easily hit something on the road a few inches above the ground.
