boring out a 1.5

Post by squeek485 »

so, looks like I may have to rebuild my little 1.5 due to a dead cylinder. gotta do a compression test on my lunch break, but so far everything ive done so far points to no compression. anyways, if that is, in fact, the case I was curious is there are any differences in the blocks of the D15B1 and the D16A6? would I be able to bore out the 1.5 and use that block to build my own D16A6? or are there sensors holes that are different?

As I recall the block is different on the bottom end so that you can't fit the D16 internals in the D15 block. They will not fit to move in there.
