In a weird way, I do. it's got a weird 30's car vibe to it with the paint and the whitewalls.

Other than the chainwheel on the wrong side and the aforementioned missing chain?

BTW Bike looks friggin' great...but I'd be so scared to snap that thing in half.
And will an acura crx seat on the 90's era fit my 90 dx?

picked this up half an hour ago:

Image

Image

it's a mongoose freestyle bike. frame is straight, welds are perfectly fine. terribly painted black over chrome, you can see the black flaking away.

the handlebar looks straight and perfect, only dirty.

Image

i like this front brake setup. but since i don't use front brakes, i'll just keep the stem.

Image

Image

will get rid of this as well:

Image

i love the rear brake setup. perfectly tucked.

Image

plans with this bike are first to clean and replace what's needed. then take the frame to de-chrome it so i can paint it flat black. then swap everything needed from the first build to this one.

btw, need to say i got this as a freebie? ;)
yay.

update. frame, fork and handlebar have been beautifully sandblasted.

Image

now it's a step closer for paint. this time i will try powdercoating for a smoother finish.

also i chose not to go flat black on this.

those on the know on which color i will be using, hush: not a word on it.
yay.
