pulled all the paper and tape off today.
took it outside into the sunlight. ;D
i am very pleased with the subtlety. not too showy, and almost unrecognizable to the untrained eye.
after i get the accessories back on and wet sand it, I will post some pics of the final product..in the sunlight.

very nice, i'm more than likely going to pain mine white but instead of pearl, i'll probally go with the porsche frost white.

ah yeah almost forgot
heres a pic of the reinforcement i found at pullapart.
its from an89 hatch. :D

and here it shows the difference from the 4a gen.(88-89) and the 4b gen.(90-91)

the bracket was a half inch shorter so i improvised using a lug nut, washer, and another nut.
