pulled all the paper and tape off today.
took it outside into the sunlight.
i am very pleased with the subtlety. not too showy, and almost unrecognizable to the untrained eye.
after i get the accessories back on and wet sand it, I will post some pics of the final product..in the sunlight.

ah yeah almost forgot
heres a pic of the reinforcement i found at pullapart.
its from an89 hatch.

and here it shows the difference from the 4a gen.(88-89) and the 4b gen.(90-91)

the bracket was a half inch shorter so i improvised using a lug nut, washer, and another nut.
