My first long distance trip in my hatch!!

Postby 91hatchligon » Sun May 24, 2015 7:08 am

Tuesday my boss asked if i would visit two of our remote sites to do some much needed computer repairs. I asked when he wanted me to go he said Thursday-Friday of that same week..... long story short my wife needed the 2013 Pilot so I couldn't take that I was forced to take the hatch. So Wednesday i took the car to get the tires balanced and an alignment and headed off Thursday morning for the 4 hour drive. The speed limit almost the entire way down is 80 Mph so i ended up doing 90-100 :P and turned out to be one of the best drives iv done in a long time although me seats are terribly uncomfortable. P.S. i would have been going faster but im on stock 13" tires and probably shouldn't have even been going as fast as i was on them. I cant wait to get my Enkei back on.

It's the little things that make it worth the trouble of keeping these on the road :)

Very nice, that's a clean hatch you got there. What was your mpg's for the trip? I use this cool site called fuelly.com and track all of my cars there.

Lol with the hilly terrain and the speed I was doing I probably only got around 26 MPG. but normal freeway driving I get about 32 MPG.

That's pretty normal but not bad at all still!
