1988 Honda Civic DX 4-Door Sedan automatic firing order and

Postby madhatter4119 » Mon Jun 13, 2016 1:36 am

I need info on the firing order for a 1988 Honda Civic DX 4-Door Sedan automatic...its currently missing the distributor and wires...While standing in front of the car...is the number one cylinder on the left or right...I'm
on a shoe string budget...Need a free manual if any body knows of one...Thanks

1-3-4-2 is the order.
The manual was available online. However now I'm not sure where to find it anymore. I do have it on my PC if need be.
Stand up and fight!

Thanks...But if I'm standing in front of the car looking at the engine...How would I hook the spark plug wires up to
the distributor and spark plugs...I can't go by the old distributor and wires because they have been removed...I had
to order a distributor and a set of wires...I'm waiting for them to be delivered and since I ordered them from different places...Hooking them up correctly is what I trying to get info on...Not being able to find a free manual to download for this info isn't helping...Hopefully others will chime in with some helpful info...Is 1-3-4-2 left to right or right to left...? I need to know which is 1-3-4-2 for the spark plugs and the distributor...Right ? My email address is
harryd4119@gmail.com in case its needed...Later

PS...I see you are a fan of Vulcan 88 1500 as well...I wish these forums made it easier to post pictures...Just sold a
1995 Vulcan 88 1500...shaved the ears on it...In fact I had several 88's over the years...Looking for a frame & title
for a 2004 Vulcan 2000 now...long story...Needs a new front end...only has 2100 miles on the engine...
