Reorganized index, and plenty of new links added to engine and trans area. Noobs are encouraged to read everything here until your eyes bleed :happy6: .

The DIY: Reupholstering/repairing your front seats (getting rid of the outer edge wear) is no longer a good link and the integra dc center console swap, both of those are not good either :(

The "ZC Swap Guide" link under D-Series Engines doesn't work right now.

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and I think I have come to the conclusion that I want to do an engine swap on my civic. I have no idea on what engine I want to use yet though. I've been told having a rebuilt one would be cheaper than getting another one. With all that's out there I can't help but wonder how far do I have to go to have it swapped? I'm not even sure if mine has an ecu in it. So if I had it swapped out and the engine I had swapped in had an ecu, what else would I have to change? A lot of engines have been suggested to me, but I really don't have a clue of where to start :/

A little confused about something if somebody could help me out. I have a 1990 civic hatch with a b18a1 from a 1992 tegra. I'm not sure if I need to modify the engine harness or if I can use a stock harness from the b18 I know this thread sais stock harness works but other people told me it won't hook into the main harness for the ecu. If somebody could clear this up for me if appreciate it thanks

Stock harness and ECU from the donor vehicle. ECU and engine have to match (with only a few exceptions)
Trying to keep my page current with worthwhile information. PM me if you want me to add something:
