you have at least 1 oil leak in either the front main seal, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, or dizzy o-ring.

You know you drive an ef when people:
- don't understand why you put so much money and effort on a 20-year old econo-car. ::)
- continuously harass you asking when you'll buy a newer car.
- complain on how low your car is, even if the suspension is stock.
- are amazed (if you own a sedan) on how much stuff can be put in with the rear seats folded. 8)
- raise their eyebrows when you complain that you're only getting 32 mpg. ;D
- freak out, grab the upper door handle and hit the "imaginary brake pedal" ( ;D ) when you hit the brakes and are behind a big truck or suv. Usually its followed by "please don't stop so close".

When an adjustable steering column is considered a luxury

When a tach is considered a luxury

You never stick your head into the open hatch, because you know it will fall on you

NICE one, can't believe no one has said that yet haha, or if people open the hatch you dramatically yell "nnoooooooooo" like the climax of a movie in slo mo as the struts begin to slide down and just then completely release.

I hear you on the adjustable steering wheel, I miss mine... oh wait no I don't :P

It just got me this morning.
I was gonna comment because my hatch stays in place very nicely...when I bought the car it had some rear end damage and the woman told me the hatch no longer opened. I pulled the lever, and what do you know? no problem. turns out she didn't even try opening the hatch for like 4 years, so I guess my struts were well rested.
This was a beautiful morning, so I decided to open up the rear windows for my drive to work.....ouch.

You pull your power steering, ac, and rear wiper motor to save weight, but tirelessly hunt down center consoles and leather GSR seats...

Your e-brake engages only one of your wheels?

your windsheild wipers go past the windsheild gasket and door pillar at highway speeds
(At least mine do that) :)
