Postby hades1186 » Fri Dec 30, 2011 9:04 pm

I don't know if this is th right place to place my questions, got a 91 DX Sedan can't get the bumper off a piece holding it in the middle? or at least thats what it feels like?
And I have the Chilton book didnt say anything bout a bolt in the middle it just says slightly lift and pull off.

A closer inspection is needed. One of the shells looks really bad while the other has to be seen on the inside to look for rust or major damage. Two crx for $500 is a very optimistic deal.

Not sure If I wanna buy them if the engine runs like he says i could just take that and sell the rest as scrap to make back some of the money, the guy doesnt seem to know anything about the cars so no telling which engine was put in during its 'rebuild'

Stupid Question Numero Dos: What size wheels could fit on my sedan 17" to big? There are some pretty decent ones for $300 it seems like a deal.

+1

do you or the seller know any of the driven history , paperwork for either of them ?

the red and white rusty one looks like a si if its orignial that is a d16a6 . Auto or manual makes no diff all tho a si trans would be even better .. that alone would be the 500 assuming the work or will easily again .

the derby paint job looks to be 70% or so complete , again full inspect them
and make your choice

take a decent side flathead, pop off the honda emblem from the bottom or top, then you'll see a giant nut in the middle, take an extension with a good half in ratchet and remove it, i believe the nut is a 17 and make sure to lock the wheel so it doesnt move and then turn right. after that you can remove the wheel.
