Suspension or driveline?

Recently when applying power at full lock or close to full lock steering I'm hearing a click. At first I thought it was CV's getting tired, upon inspection boots look good, etc... Then I noticed it clicks again when the car settles back into position, so now I'm thinking engine/tranny mount (except it never happens when going straight) or suspension part? Can't seem to replicate in the driveway - any advice on where to concentrate my efforts? Being newer to the chassis I'm sure you folks have repaired this in the past. Thanks!
