Preparing for a minime swap, do I need the z6 cam cover?
I picked up a z6 p08-3 head for cheap for my swap, but it doesn't have the plastic bolt on piece on the side of the cam underneath the cam gear where the cam cover mounts to, I know there is sights on it to line up the ignition timing. Can I just use my d15b2 one or do I really need to get the one for the z6 somewhere?
Also can someone help me out with the z6 valvetrain torque sequences in a picture, I was going to take it all apart because the guy didn't have any cover on the head so dust (maybe grit} got in there and I need to clean it up good but looked and couldn't find one.
Thanks a bunch, Derek

You will have to download the manual for that specs.

I obtained a 94 civic manual, now I just need to know about the cam cover :-(.
Does anybody know about that?

That would be great. If I need one I would def be interested. I still have the one for my b2 I just need to know if I need a different one.

They are different... I tried to put the D15b2 on my Z6 and it did not fit...I Went Ahead and took some pictures for you...

For the Z6 the Chilton guide says to do the timing with that mark specifically for the Z6, but if you line up the one on the cam that says up and the lines that line up with the head, plus the one on the crankshaft, it should be fine...but these are known to be zero tolerant to being off and can bend your valves if ur wrong

Actually my concern was the ignition timing because the sights are on the cam cover.

I just realized... it's on the lower part of the cover -_- LOL but at any rate I do want the cover with the bolts and such because it would make me nervous to have my belt exposed. So what would you give it to me for shipped to 48071

fyi, it will only bend valves if it is 90 degrees out.

The lineup for TDC is on the bottom half of the timing belt cover I noticed. So I should be Ok if I keep the bottom half of the cover the b2 one.
