Well heres the first picture of my new motor. An B18a which was sleeved with AEBS sleeves good for 55+psi, by Z10 motorsports in Neptune, NJ.
It also has a Z10 girdle for spinning that crank high up that rpm range
The head is a B16 head and is at CNC port for a full port and polish and full valvetrain from supertech thats good to 10,500rpm's.
My last motor had a issue when i lost a piston and it took out the sleeve and the head. Mostly due to a poor sleeve install, no-name pistons and some bad desisions on my behalf  Because of a bad sleeve install i kept blowing headgaskets and the last time it failed the piston broke into a million peices.
So now on to bigger and better things

Z10 was running a special on b16's and b18a/b's for sleeving and girdle for $799. They usally charge $1075 and $180 for the girdle

It gives the bottom end more strength by joining three main caps, and allows you to turn high rpm's. Since im going to be spinning 10,000rpm's i felt it was a must. i dont know why the GSR was the only one to come with that. you think the type r would have had it too.

hmmm you would think eh ? i would understand b16 wouldnt have it untill the 3rd gen b16a around the same time as the GSR... the type R should come with it too... i would buy one for my b16 just to have one thanks for the info... i figured it was there for more strength i just wasn't all there

800 isnt too shabby of a price and it saves on popping holes in the long run. i was quoted 1100 for dart sleeves but after doing some reading ive heard that some shoddy shops had been doing the job and after the engine had ran a little bit the sleeves "dropped". so im thinking aebs probably.

thats what happened to my last engine with darton sleeves and i keeped blowing the head gasket
i would only have golden eagle themselves or Z10 do my sleeves this time. i know that they are reputable

looks like you're going to have one hell of an engine
Are you using the same turbo set-up from the old motor? With this motor, it seems like you can go bigger
Can't wait to see it in the car...
Where did you get the breathers welded into the valve cover?

Yeah for the most part it will be the same. I really never reached the full potential of my last setup so i will try again with a much better platform. I do plan on getting a set of skunk2 pro 1 cams. Chris from Xenocron had my head built for these cams and says they respond very well to a high boost application. He plans on making 600whp at 24psi with this setup. I can always get a better turbo to make even more power, but for now i will make do with what i have. Chris from xenocron also welded those bungs in for me and then i had it painted.
I also ordered my limited slip from quaife today
