Re: Aftermarket Taillights

Definitely not an SI it is for sure carbureted. Yeah the Civic Si are rare on those models, the CRX Si on the other hand I have spotted 3 currently on craigslist within 100 miles of where I live. Problem is, I don't have the space to fit a parts car to go along with another possible project car. Th...

What about 3rd Gens? just curious. The car I told you about yesterday is still sitting there where I found it, trying to convince myself and my wife to buy it.

Re: Aftermarket Taillights

I like how the USDM taillights have the marker light on the side, they don't look bad at all, I just like the wrap around amber on the JDM/EDM lights. I actually don't have JDM lights on my car anymore. When I bought Tracey's front page special, he gave me a brand new old stock set of Honda genuine ...

Re: Aftermarket Taillights

I had clear taillights waaaaaay back in the day lol Bought them at Nopi back in the year 2000. I'd seen some guys would buy the clear taillights and paint them all red, didn't look all that bad. The Altezza style taillights look hideous on just about any Civic in my opinion, never liked any of them,...

Re: Jaime 91Sib18 [UPDATES]

So why is my headlight delete up for grabs on the raffle? :angryfire: The passengerside delete you gave me is warped all to hell and doesn't fit, so I'd love if you could tell everyone that I won the raffle. I pm'd my phone number. Honestly, I'm considering making my track hatch streetable again and...

Re: Classic is back

Thanks man! I love the car, it is a blast to drive. I will get some pics uploaded soon, I have to get a new photo bucket account or something like that first. And I will have to get the car cleaned up and take the dealer stickers off first, I have only driven the car twice since I bought it Monday, ...

Re: inquiring about a honda civic ... did I do something wro

Thanks again for your reply. Just a quick follow-up: Would posting a "Wanted....." ad on craigslist be generally recommended or would it be asking for trouble? What is the general view on this? I'm thinking that on one hand I might get the car I'm looking for (before anyone else does) but on the ot...

Re: inquiring about a honda civic ... did I do something wro

Yes, that makes sense, definitely. Thanks. So would you say that, aside from my expectations (which I have no problem lowering), it's still a good idea to ask all the questions when inquiring about other cars? Yes, when buying a car, general rule is to ask lots of questions, and try to find out eve...

Re: Classic is back

Well, it's official now. I now own an EM1 1999 Civic Si. Has 135K miles, no wrecks on the carfax, needs a good restore cosmetically but mechanically is pretty strong, the interior is very nice. Seems to have a lot of power and spirit, fun to drive. It is all original all the way down to the factory ...

Re: A paint job gone out of controll...my 4G under the knife

As far as I know the compound is the same as the R888's only the TW rating is 140 instead of 100. I would like to try a set of 888's next but they're twice the price and I'm not all that sure they'd be that much better. So far these tires have been great for the weight and power of the car. I've he...

Pretty much yeah... 4 wheels disc, B16A3 engine, same suspension as an EF with a slight change in the front knuckles and shocks. I could easily enter change parts between my 91 and a 99 SI.

Re: inquiring about a honda civic ... did I do something wro

$2300 is a lot for that car, but if it is low mileage and clean I'd say it's worth it. He probably had something to hide and didn't want to car proof or maybe didn't want a mechanic looking it over.
