Re: It's been a while, but I've been busy...

Digging the wheels on the rex. What brand? Watanabe or knock offs, still looks good :) They are Enkei Classic Compes...I wanted something different and saw these and loved them. I was leaning towards Rota Slips but it seems like everyone has them. I'm going to start a thread for the CRX soon. http:...

It's been a while, but I've been busy...

http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k504/jsdoyle/DSC01217.jpg Last year I moved, started a new job and started working on my MBA. I haven't done much to the Hatch but I did recently pick up a CRX! I've always wanted one so when I found one with complete interior and working a/c for $1200 I was all ...

Re: Oil for 4gen

Yeah, I was paying more for synthetic but in some cases, it's not worth it. Choose the interval (3000, 5000, 7500) that suits your driving style and use a good filter and oil. I am planning on switching to Castrol Syntec 5W-30 because I can get a 5-gallon jug locally for about $17. It's readily avai...

Front bumper turn signals/marker lights

I need some turn signal indicator lights/front marker lights for a 91 hatch. Prefer amber but clear are fine. Prefer OEM (Stanley). I'd also be interested in some corner lights as well.

Re: Another good ad on Craigslist!!

Honestly. it's probably a fair price. Stock EFs sell for between $1500 to $2500 depending on condition. Shells sell for $800-$1000. A nice EF with a few tasteful mods can go for $3000. With gas prices what they are a car that is relaible and gets 30+ mpg is in high demand. Totally depends on area. I...

Black Buddy Club P1s

You can't go wrong with some OEM wheels either, maybe HXs or Si

I think black would look good on your car though

Re: Good Place to find Interior Parts?

Salvage yards and craigslist. You might be able to order something hard to find off of ebay but shipping generally kills you. Majestic Honda may have some other rare stuff but you will be paying OEM/Dealer type prices. Salvage yards are your best bet. Look on craigslist, people will either be sellin...

900 bucks is pretty steep...for that price you would think the guy could post pics. I guess if you really want them you'll pay...I'd love to see them, they must be gorgeous.

Re: Is this a good/bad way to do a D16Z6 build?

What are some things that I should look at on the block and head? Total nnob here, wanna make sure I don't pick up some junk. My intent is this...pick up a block and headthat are in good shape and do whatever I need to do to prep them. As time and money allows systematically build a good motor...not...

Re: Is this a good/bad way to do a D16Z6 build?

What are some things that I should look for? I think it would be a good learning experience and when I'm done with the rebuild I will have a swap that I know is 100% good to go.

Is this a good/bad way to do a D16Z6 build?

I can get a block and head from a guy for $150...no rods or pistons. I thought about picking it up and slowly putting together the parts...end result being that I have a motor that I am 100% sure of the condition. Once I have all the parts, I do the swap. I know this will be more expensive than just...

Re: Interior Evolution, still in progress! New pics!

Yeah, those Recaros were also stock in the ITRs...I almost bought some DC2 rear seats that matched exactly. They were a little pricy since they had to be shipped from Japan. There is a guy selling front and rears locally on craigslist for $1300. I had some DC2 rear seats in there for a while...the b...
