Re: Rear garnish

That would work. Could you give me dimensions and placement as well? Like distance from the sides and the top/bottom to the edges of the garnish would be great!

Re: Transmission swap

Cheapest ones within driving distance of me are like $300 on there :/ I know if I get a trans from another EF I won't have to change axles, I just meant with the integra transmission that I heard works.

Rear garnish

Does anyone have a stencil for the rear garnish "civic" writing? or something I can use to get a vinyl sticker made for mine? I have a hatch, not sure if the garnishes are different.

Transmission swap

I have an 89 STD with a d15b1, don't have much interest in swapping motors, I like the fuel mileage and never wanted a race car. But, the car is a 4 speed which puts me at higher highway RPMs than I would like, and the gearing just feels so weird with first and second being so short and 3rd fairly l...

Hey Scott91EF I see you got new wheels for the hatch. What did you do with the new HF wheels you bought? Looking to get some for my hatch and was going to get some new from majestic. If you still have them, willing to sell?

Re: loss of fuel mileage

Fixed that leak, found out it was a coolant leak, not vacuum. So that seems to have solved my idle issues I've been trying to fix for 2+ years >.> lol. I put a junkyard MAP sensor on and then managed to break the brittle wires coming from my coolant temperature sensor, so now the ECU thinks the car ...

Re: loss of fuel mileage

Actually I have both and was planning on testing it this weekend, but got a CEL today....codes 1, 3, 16. Oxygen sensor, map sensor, fuel system, so I'm pretty sure now the map sensor is bad and its running rich. Gonna see what I can do about another map sensor now.

loss of fuel mileage

I've been getting around 30 mpg in my 89 civic hatch STD lately. Back in november I scrapped my old civic(same car, had pretty much unrepairable cancerous rust) and put the engine into this body. I have changed fuel filter, oil, oil filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor button, all new exhaus...

Re: honda chime..... is gone

OP...Does your interior light still turn on when you open your door? If so, you got me lol. But I had a similar problem and didn't even realize the interior light wasn't turning on. One fuse for the interior light/cig lighter also controls that chime. That fuse blows, no chime. Also try wiggling the...
