Re: new engine problem

i believe it is MPFI because it has 4 injectors. will the tranny on the D16 fit onto my D15? the tranny thats mated to the D15 right now has a shitty 3rd gear is why i ask, both are 5 speed manuals.

Re: new engine problem

exactly what i want to do, but i have to get one of the civic's out of my driveway, and the other one running. i was thinking swap the d15 for now, and down the road slam on a VTEC head. or perhaps rebuild the A6 bottom end if its salvageable out of the car and drop another engine later.

Re: Best Bang for More Fuel Mileage

I actually did a number of stuff while driving my 88 crx si. I changed the plugs out to the E3 brand. ive had a lot of problems with that brand, personally i would go with NKG, my civc didn't run right with them, and they f***ed up ignition components on my lil bros mustang... again, just my 2cents

Re: Best Bang for More Fuel Mileage

if your really going all out for milage, and i mean all out, perhaps alignment could do something? would be pretty minimal, but i seem to remember it affecting milage in some cases when i was studying automotives. someone else hove input on this?
