New ed3 here from TX (1991 civic sedan)

Post by jdmscene »

Hello everyone names Rocco. I'm new to Civic4g.com also new to 4th gen civics as a hole.

I picked up my 1991 Civic 100% stock for a good price. Paid more for transporting the car from FL to TX then I did for the car. It has a few issues but its a 21 year old car. I remember when I was 21 I had issues too !!!

Some of the main issues is I had to push it off the transport truck because it would not start.... I jumped it and it started but battery died over night. I just changed out the battery we will see if it was just a dead cell or wire issues. No big deal really. I plan to do a swap soon anyway. Going DHOC ZC or B16 dunno yet if I want the headache yet. Other issue is sunroof been caulked. Guess it leaks! It has the pop up sunroof I was reading they are not factory but are dealer installed. I'm thinking buying a universal fit and replace it, patch the metal paint it, maybe find a sunroof delete (I'm sure someone made a kit), or patch the metal and skin the roof with CF. And wipers stick half way up I pull on them a little and they go the rest the way and down. thinking motor is weak. No big deal the red dodge next to it is my daily.

Here are a few photos of it. I will be making a build thread later on when I make up my mind.

Welcome. The radio bezel you are missing you can get it from other 4g in the junkyard, they are the same.

What EL means is a bezel from any sedan or hatch will fit. The CRX is totally different. I think I actually have one lying around somewhere... Unfortunately I can't check until I get back to Texas. On another note: That car is remarkably clean for coming from Florida! I haven't been able to find anything but rust-buckets out here... Good thing I'm returning to Texas soon! Lol!
