Some of the better models(VT did, not sure about SiR) had that. IMO it looks better with it.
There's still a whole lot to do and so little time to do it in.

Thanks, it's good to have it in the shape it's in right now.
The painter wants to do some finalizing and I'm gonna drop the car off tomorrow. It should be done by sunday.

I put the carpet, center console etc. in today.
I have this waiting for the moment that the car is actually finished. Not OEM, but identical to it. :)

Very nice Sandman! I see your point with the unpainted mirrors, never looked at it that way. Me like :)
Now get some magazine quality pics for the Frontpage Special ;)

Thanks. A friend of mine has already promised to shoot some pics with his SLR. They should be good. :)
The interior still needs work and the engine bay is filthy. All that sanding and painting. Probably gonna sort that out during next week.

Heh, it seems to happen more and more as time goes by. :D
Got the car back again, still not exactly as good as I want it to be. I suppose we'll do some more work during the next winter.

wow, you had a lot of rust, i guess that's common in your part of the world. Good job on getting it all fixxed though. the car turned out great. the body lines on the front of the car look great, a lot better than mine. But that's what i get for using aftermarket hood and fenders >:(
Your car is very clean and original looking. You have very good taste...

Thanks, it's taken a good while to get to the point it's in now. There's still a lot to do though. Mostly small things.
I wanted the car to look stock. IMO the best visual change done is the rocker panels/skirts. Those bulky DIY ones didn't rly fit the lines of the car.

I see that red devil quite like daily - and also the blue one mentioned on the thread:P Looking damn good! I only wish I had the time/money/energy to do the same for my HB - alas, there'll be none of those, for there's a baby coming:)
