I love what you have done, but I am bothered about all the dust and debris in the paint.
You will be wet sanding your fingers to the bone.
Dont get me wrong, its still beautiful.

Doing a paint job in a garage with no vaccuum is scary. you have the mist floating around along with dust, bugs, water vapor, etc. i noticed in one of your pictures how cloudy it looked in the garage after you shot it.

Now get it back together without scratching anything. :)

I am 100% with you! I can't even wet sand it because it's metallic! I am not happy with it at all, it was WAY to cold to paint, but I had to have it done before Wed and this is what I get! I did all that prep work and spent all that money! I will now wait, sand it back down and do a base/clear when I have the money! It will do for now I guess! :(

I got one door on and the back hatch on. Need to clean the bay then get the fenders and hood back on! The bumpers are not painted yet and I was not done with the wings, but I think I am going to go flat black with the wings. I am doing the 88-89 black top on the bumpers and the mirrors will be black as well as the trim and the handels. I think that will look pretty good!

Here are a few pics of the muffler I am building. I still need to pick up the steel wool and fiberglass then weld it all together! Now, in the pic you can't really tell how small it is but it is SMALL! lol
Here are the inner and outer shell
Image

These are the ends
Image

Slide the one end over the center
Image

An idea of what it will look like but with a turn down on the end.
Image

When done I will order some mandrel bends and make an axle back to I can paint it black. I want it to be as un-seen as It can!

Got some good work done yesterday! All the inside, other then the dash and driver seat (have to make a mount for it) are done!
Image

Image

Hit it with the vac. I'm going to need new carpet soon!
Image

Image

I had some CRX trunk shocks laying around and mine were bad so I put them on. This is as far as the trunk will open but I kinda like it this way.
Image

My helper!
Image

I painted the wing a flat black. I like it a lot! I think with the back bumper done and the top wing on there it will really set it off!
Image

Image

Image

More soon, need to get my gauges so I can get the dash back on!

Got the muffler DONE! Just need to paint it but that will have to wait untill I get the axle back done.
Image

Image

Image

Image

I didn't get pics of the fiberglass going on, but it goes around the steel.
Image

Image

Here you can see how small it is! Size 10!
Image

Image

Where is should go!
Image

Ok all for now!
