Isn't necessary to get an hondata to tune the engine, the z6 with a full ecu/wiring conversion will be obd1 so you can install tuning software like chrome, turboedit or uberdata to do it on your ecu.

The stock ECUs can be modified to be tuned. It just has to be a newer type ECU with a ROM chip. Some older ones didn't have it(like my stock '88 PM7). I just changed it to a newer modded PM7. All that needs to be done is removing the ROM, solder in a socket and after you've tuned it(using an emulator and a laptop) and burned an EPROM just drop it in to the socket.

This is how we've done mine a good two or three times.

so i havent posted in a while, and i figured i might as well go for the update on the car. as of this morning it decided it was going to start to slowly commit automotive suicide. so as i have no funds, thanks to school, im going to try to get my hands on anoyher d series with a tranny, and try and get some internals on the block for the beginning, then heads later. its to bad this happened now when im busy pouring money into my trucks engine :(
