VERY ODD TROUBLE CODE SITUATION

Ok. So I recently purchased an 89 civic lx 1.5 with dpfi. Check engine light has been on since I purchased it. I found out about the flashing light under the passenger floor mat and the codes it was throwing were 10 (air intake temp sensor) and 14 ( air control valve). But the weird part is that I changed the air intake temp sensor and the #14 code for the air control valve went away. And I still have the air intake sensor code #10 flashing. Any help or advise on where to go from here would be great. Thanks.
